It’s now been a whole 20 years since this happened, which is quite hard to believe, and a new feature documentary that will tell the real TRUTH behind the murders will be released very soon – ‘Essex Boys: The Truth’.

A few short previews of the documentary, who former Essex Boy gang member Bernard O’Mahoney is featured in, were made public by Express Online a few days ago.

As of now there is no release date, but we’ll make sure to keep you posted.

Check out the three trailer snippets below.

The murders of Pat Tate, Tony Tucker and Craig Rolfe are the most infamous murders in British history, and the stories of the life they were involved in back in the 80s and 90s, have been put into various movies.

On the 6th December 1995, a small village in Essex, UK was the scene of the triple mass murder of Tony Tucker (38), Patrick Tate (37) and Craig Rolfe (26) – three people who were all heavily involved in selling drugs, as well as lots of other criminal activities. The three men were in a Range Rover down a small farm track when they were shot to death by a shot-gun. They were found the next morning by a farmer called Peter Theobald and his friend Ken Jiggins.

A man called Carlton Leach, who was good friends with all three of the men, wrote a book about his involvement with them, and his thoughts the 1995 Range Rover murders – he gave three different scenarios as to how he thought they were killed. The book was later made into a movie called Rise Of The Footsoldier, which went onto become a classic British gangster movie.

“Rise of the Footsoldier follows the inexorable rise of Carlton Leach from one of the most feared generals of the football terraces to becoming a member of a notorious gang of criminals who rampaged their way through London and Essex in the late eighties and early nineties. It is three decades of his life following him from football hooliganism, through to his burgeoning career as a bouncer, his involvement in the criminal aspects of the early ‘rave’ scene and subsequently to his rise to power as one of the most feared and respected criminals in the country.” – Written by Julian Gilbey

For anyone who hasn’t already, I suggest you go check it out.

It’s a great movie that documents the life of Carlton Leach, who was once heavily involved and in business with all three people who died in the Range Rover back in December 1995.
